WHAT WE WILL COVER:
SKILL ENHANCEMENT: Skill is imperative in today’s modern game
We will create optimal drills to enhance each player’s skillset, by creating game-like situations and fundamentals that need to be taught. We will instill these patterns into their muscle memory so it happens naturally in a game
IQ: A player’s “hockey IQ” may be the number one flaw that keeps them in the “average player” category
We will isolate weakness in a players game and provide the proper techniques, movements and thought processes that are needed in order to make the jump to the next level.
SAFETY: The leading cause of a player’s dismissal from a game or even the season is due to injuries. As a player climbs the hierarchy in the game, injuries become more prominent
We will teach player’s how to execute drill’s at the highest pace, while doing it the safest way possible. If we can provide safer ways to escape from a hit, and make a play, then it may tack on year’s to the players playing career.
TRENDS: Just like fashion and entertainment, hockey has trends too. It is imperative that each player knows which trends to follow, but more importantly which trends to steer clear of
We will provide player’s with up to date trends in the game such as deking/deception movements, maximizing the stride, stick tricks, and hints to get them best prepared for upcoming season.
PROFESSIONALISM: You need to know what you are signing up for. Just because everyone is signing up for something, doesn’t mean it is the right thing to do
